About Us
Johnny and Amy Hauck::..
Met back in 2001 at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX. Both were a part of SHSU XA and were discipled and loved like never before. This changed everything and they began to realize that Jesus wanted RELATIONSHIP with them and the people around them. Both served as small group leaders starting in 2002 and were later married in January 2005. Upon graduation they knew that God was leading them into full time campus ministry. After graduating, they served on staff at SHSU Chi Alpha until they recently moved to San Antonio in January 2008 to finish raising their missionary budget and pioneer a Chi Alpha at the University of Texas at San Antonio this fall with the help of their awesome team! They recently had a beautiful baby girl named Haven and are having the time of their lives being parents!
Kyle and Beth Volkmer::..Both received their bachelor degrees from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX and met there in 2003. They served as a pivotal part of the leadership team at Chi Alpha SHSU as small group leaders for several years. They were married in August 2005 and felt the Lord leading them into full time ministry. They both have beautiful servants hearts and they bring joy and laughter wherever they go. Both have a heart for discipling students around them to be lifelong followers of Jesus! They moved to San Antonio in January 2008 and serve as an irreplaceable part of the SA-XA staff.
Jonathan Bryce::..Hailing from Corpus Christi, Texas: was saved and discipled through the Chi Alpha group there at Corpus Christi A&M led by Will and Jennifer Robinson! He quickly became one of the foundational members of that Chi Alpha group as a small group leader and worship leader. He developed a gift for loving people and pushing them to think about the Lord by realizing that people are inherenly valuable and precious: that interprets everything he does! Upon graduating from Corpus Christi A&M he moved with the Haucks and the Volkmers to start XA here in SA. He's pictured here with his beautiful new fiance Jenny!

..::Join with us to reach college students. As missionaries, we must raise a full support budget. This way we can give our full time and energy to campus ministry. That means: being on campus, organizing events, building relationships with students, discipleship groups, serving the campus and the community around us and pretty much anything else you can imagine! It is a full time position with late nights and early mornings that we believe is very important and key to reaching the university with the Gospel and discipling students to really know God.
